Freom the poem of the same name written December 24, 2013... THE RITE (of True Religion) is one of those writes I had no idea I would record until after I started recording and even then... it took two years before I attempted to make it a track. But this speaks to the very nature of what I said on the album info about how I had written with certain things in mind... such as esoteric stylized poetry.

When I speak of religion in this track... I do so from the original sense of the word... that has nothing to do with the organized religions we see today. Originally from the Greek, religion comes the root "ligare" meaning literally to "tie back." And like the word yoga in the Sanskrit and yechidah in the Hebrew... it literally means "to yoke", "to bind", "to connect. with the prefix re as we use it in the English version... religion or re-ligion, literally to "tie back" the original sense meaning to tie back to the Divine Source... which for me is Feminine Divinity, the oldest form of religion extant... i.e., the worship of woman as Goddess and the sexual rites as prayer.

It was in this way that a man was and is able to (if the rite was done correctly to say with devotion and with reverence) He would only then be able to come through his humanity and into being born into his divinity.

This final track, like the poem is an ode to the Living Goddess in the embodiment of woman and the recognition of the sacredness in that embodiment here taking us from just masturbatory level of initiation into coitus proper. The idea that the body of woman is sacred applies here and that if the body is the temple then sex is a prayer. It is the rite... of true religion.

that... last thing that I think of... when at last... I slip into my sleep... at night... I truly... the only and most holy amongst your... would be...
and many other... devotees.

cum be the holy offering... that I to consume... here outright!
